This guitar was made by Danelectro to be sold in Sears, under the Silvertone name. It’s a short scale single pickup model, and is very light and comfortable. Wear throughout as is normal for a 60 year old guitar, but oozes vintage groovy fun!
This Hagstrom was made in Sweden- and is in the hard to find baby blue! Hagstrom is known for their slim necks, and this one is the smallest I’ve seen. It’s jangly and oozes vintage cool. This one has been refretted with 80*40 wire and is feeling refreshed and ready to rock.
Here is a Danelectro Pro, only made for one year in Neptune NJ. These are short scale and very comfy. This one is particularly groovy, as somewhere down the line it got painted with a pelham (Neptune?) blue. You can see the original brown sparkle finish underneath, mainly from picking wear above the fingerboard. If you’re looking for a simple guitar with a lot of personality, this one is for you.
This guitar has been refretted and is setup with flatwounds, 1963 style.
A cool vintage Japanese bass, inspired by the Moserite family. This is a short scale head-turner, with what I think is the original foam on the underside of the bridge cover. It gives it a nice thumpy muted almost upright bass sound. Knicks and wear you’d expect on a 60 year old instrument. This has had the neck refinished due to dings and wear.
